Discussions

Every page has a Talk tab — a list of discussion threads about that page. Reading needs no account; each row shows the topic, a post count, who started it, and the last activity.

Starting a thread

Below a page’s thread list: a Topic line and your first post. Posting needs a signed-in, verified account — logged out, you’ll see a sign-in link instead of the form.

Replying

Inside a thread there are two ways to answer:

• the form at the bottom replies to the thread;
• Reply on any post nests your answer under that post — the form shows who you’re replying to, with a switch back to reply to thread instead.

Posts are plain text, shown with their author and a local-time timestamp.

Recent talk

Recent talk in the site menu is the wiki-wide view: the latest threads across every page, with post counts and last activity — the discussion counterpart of Recent changes.
